Base calibration vs recall update calibration

When beginning the tune creating process i see the window appear with these 2 options
Base calibration or recall update calibration
No sure which one to pick since I bought the car second hand. would it make a difference on which one I chose or should just stick to base calibration so I don't know If my car had an recall update
