Good morning.
So, couple of things I already checked: is if I have spark, which I do because the car seems to want to start when I spray starting fluid. And i took out each spark plug just to make sure.
Ktuner: Disable Immobilizer.
Fuel Pressure at 40ish: at first I didn't have any and it turned out the wire was not crimped all the way. im using eg fuel pump for now just to start it, but have a walbro 450 if I need to swap it out.
So then comes the injectors. I removed them and put direct 12v(tapped) to see if they clicked and they did so I'm guessing they are working. I checked the plugs but notice there's no power what so ever. Checked each pin to see if any of em were receiving power and nope nothing. And this is where I'm stuck at for now.
Car Info:
Car: 94 Civic dx
Engine: 05 TSX K24a2
Transmission: 06 Rsx type s
Injectors: Bosch 1000cc
Engine Harness: 05 Rsx type S
Ktuner Ecu: Rsx type S
Grounds: Manifold, Transmission, Alternator
Injectors are connected to Manifold Ground.
If any other info is needed please let me know. And thank you for your help
Starting issues: injector / starter
Re: Starting issues: injector / starter
Make sure you've also not left real-time enabled and verify you're seeing RPM in logging during cranking. Very the pump is turning on and verify you actually get fuel. That's really the only suggestions I have for you.
Re: Starting issues: injector / starter
Update:
Fuel Pump is working and fuel is getting thru the hose.
Ended up finding a fuel leak at the regulator in the process.
Real-Time is off
Injectors are now receiving power.
Also, what should I put for the fuel trim (1000cc) it's at 0 atm.
RPM is being read. But is there a specific range it should be reading?
Also how can I check if the injectors are actually squirting?
Also I have a couple of error codes:
P2127 -Acc. Pedal Position sensor 2 Low Voltage
U0107 -Drive By Wire Comm. Fault
P0113 - Intake Air Temp High Input
U1102 -fcan
U0115 -unknown

Re: Starting issues: injector / starter
If you're working with a drive by cable swap, drive by cable harness, and drive by cable ECU, I'm unclear as to why you'd have loaded a drive by wire tune. Look in the PRB section instead.
Re: Starting issues: injector / starter
I switched to the 05-06 Rsx Type S stock tune but now I'm getting a
Error Code
P0603
Everything else cleared

Re: Starting issues: injector / starter
Update:::
Okay so I checked and got everything working
Fuel Pump Walbro 450
Regulator at 55 psi
Injectors are working: now have stock 310cc
Spark Plugs work as well
Had a fuel leak before now it's fix.
Crankshaft Sensor was also replaced.
No errors codes.
So the issues now is that it will not idle at. It will crank and start and just die out or try to idle (or seems like it wants to) then just die out again. Kind of like when you spray starting fluid.
I'm currently using the PRB Tsx Tune with stock injectors and 25vtc

Re: Starting issues: injector / starter
Excellent progress. If it's timed right all you need is air, fuel, and timing. You have datalogging to verify sensors are within operational parameters and whether you're getting air properly through the IACV, including map trace to see where you might need to adjust fueling. If you're unable to tune it from here, get a tuner involved.
Re: Starting issues: injector / starter
Turn out it was the MAP sensor. For some reason I can't seem to find the settings for it. I'm using ktuned map sensor.
Re: Starting issues: injector / starter
It's likely a rebrand of something else. You'll want to contact them for details.
