Versions of Windows, like XP, may need to have the drivers manually installed. You’ll find the drivers for Windows in Program Files/KTuner in a directory named "KTunerFlashDriver"
Drivers:
Plug your KTuner device into your computer’s USB port. At the end of the KTuner software installation you may see the option to install End User CAN device driver. Checking this will attempt to launch the installer when you click the finish button.
Mac OS X does not currently support the OBD2 device.
If Windows has already prompted you to select a driver skip to part 2.
Open Device Manager in the System Control Panel. Find Openport 2 in the Universal Serial Bus Devices section. Choose Update Driver Software either by right clicking or by going into the device properties.
When asked how you’d like to search for a driver choose browse my computer for driver software.
Click Browse to locate the drivers folder in Program Files/KTuner/KTunerFlashDriver and then hit Next. It should tell you the driver was successfully installed. If not, visit the support forum on our website for additional support.
Once installed the software should recognize and instantly connect to your hardware.
