ECU forgot my tune?

I just did a timing belt change on my 2015 Accord Coupe 6-6. To get at the timing belt I needed to disconnect the battery and remove the ECU from the car as it was in the way of accessing the motor mount that has to be removed to get the belt and water pump out. Anyway, when I got everything put bac...

Re: Is the KTuner tune active when the ECON feature is on?

Interesting thing happened when I went to make a video. I found that the two-step DID work when in ECON so my original premise and question are rendered invalid. I can only assume when I tried using it in the past in ECON the car must have been moving, if even slightly. The two-step does not engage ...

Re: Is the KTuner tune active when the ECON feature is on?

Maybe I'm making this more difficult than it needs to be, but help me out here. When I look at my tune in the software, there is only one place to set the Two-step. When I look at the DBW mapping there is only one version. I don't see a regular version and a ECON version. Maybe I'm misunderstanding ...

Re: Is the KTuner tune active when the ECON feature is on?

Well, the DBW settings are different, that is the big part of ECON to change the DBW mapping. But I was not aware the 2-step setting may need to be turned on in two places (I think that is what you are saying). I will take another look at the overall tune settings.

Is the KTuner tune active when the ECON feature is on?

This may be a silly question but is the KTuner tune I put in my car active and functioning when the ECON feature is on? The reason I ask is because I included the 2-step setting into the tune I loaded and I noticed that the 2-step does not function when the ECON feature is on. Makes me wonder if the...

Re: Tune 1 vs Tune 2

I'm not the OP. I'm just saying my V2 does not have "Tune 2". I think the terms are getting mixed. For clarity, YOUR software says you have three choices, factory tune, Tune 1 (91 octane tune) or speed density. No "Tune 2" listed anywhere. This applies to what the OP original pos...

Re: Tune 1 vs Tune 2

Well now, I'm a little confused by that response. First issue, the discussion started with Tune 1 vs. Tune 2. On my unit, I don't have a Tune 2, I have: Factory base Tune 1 I'm assuming for purposes of this discussion thus far: "Tune 1" = factory base in the software "Tune 2" = T...

Considering a J37 upgrade to my 2015 Accord Coupe V6-6

I am considering doing the J37 intake manifold upgrade on my 2015 Accord Coupe V6-6. I guess the first question is, is this intake manifold upgrade worth the cost and effort when doing it on a J35? My other question which is more pertinent to KTuner is, will the Tune 1 tune be capable of working wel...

Bummer. That would be a nice feature to have.
