I’m using a KTuner V1.2 with my 2017 Honda Civic FK7 (1.5T). Recently, the USB socket on my KTuner device came loose, and it no longer connects. The solder joints appear to be broken. I’m planning to have it re-soldered, but if that doesn’t fix the issue, what should I do next?
The KTuner is still working, and I can switch between maps. However, I cannot connect to the PC.
I’m concerned that the device might be locked to my car’s ECU, and I don’t know how to revert the ECU to factory settings if the device remains unusable.
If I buy a new ktuner, can I delete the lock on the ecu and match it with it?
