Table ignition Vs. Actual ignition
i just uploaded the reflash 3 map on my RSX-S after installing an RBC. did some logs and realized that my actual ignition was only between 18-22 degrees where as in the Actual ignition table it is set for 31. is it normal for it to be that far off?
Re: Table ignition Vs. Actual ignition
If knock control and other corrections are pulling timing, yes. You can disable knock ignition limit tables by setting those tables to 60. You'll want to check the Apply IAT to overall timing on the ignition corrections tab if you do so otherwise the IAT ignition compensation will never be applied. You'll also want to make sure you drop timing in your timing maps since you'll be running much more advanced than you are currently.
