Hi, I have a '14 Accord 6/6 which I just finished getting my bolts-ons for, and I got a speed density tune due to having a large CAI. Even after being tuned using SD, I'm getting a P0101 code for the MAF, which comes on after about 30 miles or so. I talked with my Tuner and he told me to just disable to code in Monitors/Disables.
I disabled the code, then the car started jumping at idle to 2500 RPM, and then coming right back down. It would do this once every few minutes of idling, but the light did indeed stay off. I turned the monitor back on, and it stopped jumping. Also, when the code is on, the car seems to act completely normal, doesnt stutter, still pulls hard, etc. Is this a tuning problem or am I getting a false code? If this is a false code, how would I be able to remedy it? Staring at 6 lights on my dash for 1 code is getting irritating lol.
Thank you!
9th Gen Accord V6/6MT P0101 Code
Re: 9th Gen Accord V6/6MT P0101 Code
Disabling P0101 does not disable MAF and has no bearing on fueling. P0101 is a MAF range error only. P0102/3 is the MAF sensor itself. If you have a hunting idle you can probably see the need to adjust fueling etc in your short term fuel trims.
