I'm new to the Ktuner world so my questions may seem naive, probably because they are....
I'm looking at purchasing a RV trailer, and plan on towing it with my Ridgeline. I would like to squeeze every HP possible out of the stock 3.5L engine to help with the towing task. I asked over on the Ridgeline Forum, about dropping a newer Gen2 engine into my Gen1 RL to get some additional HP. I was told that won't work out, to take a look at Ktuner, so here I am.
1) how knowledgeable does one need to be able to effectively apply Ktuner kit to a RL ?
2) how many HP should one reasonably expect to gain by using a Ktuner kit on a RL ?
3) as a novice in this field, what do I need to know to pull this off ?

Manually shift automatic with tuner on PCM

I am looking for a way to manually shift a 2012 Honda Ridgeline. (I know, please laugh, then help) haha.

Are there any tuners that can add manual shifting options, or simply prevent the 5-speed transmission from shifting into 5th?

I really need this for towing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Surely this is a super simple thing to do in the honda tuner world, just not something that many people think about.

Surely it's not a simple thing to do, when you have to add things to the software that's not exist.

I found some honda tuner nerds that think they can figure it out with HTS. Will report back.
