I have the end user revision 1 for my 05 RSX. I'm currently tuned and running great. When i plug up the ecu to my laptop i see that it says logging in green at the bottom. When i do a data log, i manually select the datalog start, it works fine and i can review the datalog. However, i see that there is an automatic (onboard) datalog feature which i assume is what is active by the green logging indicator at the bottom left. The issue is i see where there are parameters to set up when the auto datalog starts but all these options are greyed out and unless i manually start the datalog it does not datalog anything. The green datalogging icon is displayed which led me to believe that it is data logging all the time.. How do i enable the automatic datalog?

The box at the bottom left, the on board logging, and many other explanations are covered in the help. The LED matrix in this same help area explains what the LEDs are doing as well.

Thanks for the response. I knew how to get to the datalog preferences but when i go there i can't enable it. It seems as if it's not displaying all the info, the word activation is not fully displayed and that screen can't be maximised. I'm assuming the paramaters to enable it are also missing. See image below.

Please refer to the help again. You're not in the right section. You're in preferences, not parameters.

I just went thru the entire tutorial and help docs, what I'm trying to find is the automato datalogging parameters that is shown in the link u sent. See my vid below, I don't see it anywhere. If you can tell me where it is that would be helpful.

I see where you're confused.

The ECU is activating the logging on the unit. Therefore it's in the parameters for the ECU. You need to have your tune file open and you'll find it in the list on the left.
