Hi all,
can I use the baseline maps Stage1 or 2 for my 2018 / 1.5T Civic / manual transmission without having to make any changes?
Because I live in Europe / Germany and does it fit so far with the gasoline type (95 Oct.) MAF and AFR settings or is there something to consider here? Sorry if the questions seem strange, but I'm still a greenhorn when it comes to KTuner. Greets Florian

THX for your answer.
And what power and torque could I expect (I have the manual transmission)?

Re: 1st Time Ktuner use
Yes, you can use Stage1 and Stage2. I always use the Starter Dual Target map and change the MAF Scaling to "Factory MAF w/ Top End Calibration", because the fueling with factory MAF setup is too rich at WOT, sometimes it needs to lover more. With a 21PSi tune, you don't really want to use 95 octane, on WOT it pulls so much timing, better to use higher octane. With 100 octane you can easily reach around 220HP and 350-360Nm, but with manual transmission you want to avoid WOT pulls at 4-5-6 gears below 4000rpm, because with that peak torque you can slip the clutch.

Re: 1st Time Ktuner use
@Linszter: this meansit better to change the MAF setting to "Factory MAF w/ Top End Calibration" / whats the ideal lambda/AFR for the 1.5T Engine for safe tune?
Re: 1st Time Ktuner use
It depends, but most of the time it's needed on EDM versions. The target is around 11.2, but with stock MAF it goes to low 10's. I always try to run around 11.5-12.0
Re: 1st Time Ktuner use
@Linszter: this means I should activate the item “Factory MAF w/ Top End Calibration”. Is that normaly enough to not be so rich AFR on the road or do I have to adjust something manually?
Re: 1st Time Ktuner use
Like I said, it depends. You have to see what it shows on WOT. If it's rich, you can activate that.
