Factory reset for Dealer service

just a quick question on service schedules, possible service bulletins Honda dealer ECU future updating car software vs. Ktuner ECU reflashes. Performing a factory reset clears all tuning history's etc possibly effecting warranties....just curious thanks

In the case of possible ECU updates from the dealer, you should return to factory and unlock the unit, as they may change the software version that the details indicate when you locked originally.

is there a way i can reset the ktuner without using the car ? ihad purchased a ktuner v1 and it wasnt unlocked before i purchased it he blocked me and im stuck trying to unlock the device does anyone have a solution
